Welcome to our first blog
I’m really excited to be welcoming you to the Mindful Psychology Practice. This is a vision I have had for a long time. I recognise the power and potential in Buddhist and Eastern practices and also have a deeply held belief in the sharing of human distress as a way of transforming suffering into connection, validation and growth. Because of this, I have brought together my many years of practicing as a Psychologist within the NHS and my buddhist practice of compassion and meditation.
Our blogs will aim to provide you with an enriching learning and or experience. Today’s invitation is to spend the next 60 seconds falling the inhale and exhale of your breath and as you do this, see if you might soften any areas of tightness, tension or holding in your body. Don’t worry about getting it right/wrong… just give yourself the small but generous gift of pausing and breathing and softening.
