“Are you concerned about your teenager or nearly teenage child? Do you feel like you're struggling to understand them and wondering how best to support them? Parenting is one of the most important jobs any of us will ever do. Despite the abundance of books on the subject, you may feel unprepared as your child enters adolescence and becomes a teenager. While a lot of information and support is available when our children are young, it can feel like you're entering a world of unknowns when they reach adolescence - the pre-teen (tween) and teenage years.

I can help you establish a healthy relationship with your pre-teen and teenage children. You'll learn practical coping strategies that will help and support your child. We will talk about setting clear boundaries, communicating openly and honestly, and taking care of yourself. You'll learn how to help them manage their stress, anxiety, and mental health. You'll be able to support them when they struggle with adolescence's big emotions.

As a counsellor with over 12 years of experience, I specialise in neurodivergence in families, including formal and self-diagnosed autism or ADHD, as well as LGBTQ+ identities. I can help you regain a sense of calm in your life and create positive relationships with the people around you.

In addition to this, I also offer single-session therapy, which is a shorter, more solution-focused form of therapy.
